Lanyon & Le Compte offers complete design and build services for homes and specialist construction throughout the Canterbury region. Established in 1990, we offer a full design and build process for residential projects for all types of construction. We are specialists in Thermomass. Offering a very stable and energy efficient type of construction, Thermomass features high durability and insulation. Able to be constructed off site, it also ensures a high quality finish and faster construction.
We can offer a full project management service to ensure the quality of your entire project. All preparation work is catered for - from excavation of foundations to transport. We offer everything right through to the final carpentry and joinery. Keeping everything in house means construction and time costs are reduced and all our workmanship is covered by a Master Builders Guarantee.
ABOUT US
Lanyon & Le Compte, established in 1990, offers specialist construction services throughout the Canterbury region. We specialise in the production, transportation and installation of precast concrete panels and stairs. We can also form foundations, footings, floor slabs and mid-floor units.
Our precast factory has the ability to produce and store up to 180 units if required. Production can be upwards of 400 sqm per day with no delays due to weather as our beds are heated and covered. Our testing and quality assurance systems have proven that strengths of up to 35 mpa can be achieved. Projects consisting of 900 units have been supplied on time in under 5 months. We have the ability to produce large panels up to 40 tonne and we have the trucks and cranes to handle these heavier loads.
We can offer a wide range of specialist concrete products including feature panels, acid washes, exposed finishes, sponged finish and coloured concrete.
Lanyon & Le Compte can also take on any building project from single level homes to high-rise apartment blocks, architectural homes to tilt-panel factories, warehouses, swimming pools, fencing and retaining walls. We can offer everything from excavation of foundations right through to final carpentry and joinery. We are registered Master Builders and our workmanship is covered by a Master Builders Guarantee. Successful projects include the Rydges Latimer Hotel, 6 luxury apartments at 110 Park Tce and many concrete houses throughout the Canterbury region using thermomass and cocoon technology (refer to the Cocoon website).
